JOHN ROLFE
Auctioneer
John was born in to the trade and spent most bank holidays and school breaks sat at the back of an auction thinking that time had stopped. Little did he know then of the thrill of auctioneering and running a saleroom. John brings a fresh take to the outdated stereotyped world of antiques and collecting. His passions are mid-century art and design and high end Swiss watches... one day he might be able to afford one!
Alex Hickman
Valuer
Alex started in the industry when he was trying to pay off his hefty student loan. Little did he know all that debt for a Geography degree would lead him to John Rolfe Auctions. Having been a dealer for almost a decade he has a vast knowledge in Collectables and Ephemera. He has been a bright addition, with his jokes almost as good as John's but as with antiques he still has a lot to learn.
JAMES HULBERT
Valuer and Saleroom Stud
John and James have worked together for almost a decade and share the same ability to spot quality at twenty paces. James joins John Rolfe Auctions having been in the industry for over 7 years having started as a porter straight from school. His passions are horology, furniture, reclamation, classic & customised cars.
GRIER EWINS
Admin
Grier does as she pleases as John is too scared to tell her otherwise. She tries her best to keep the boys in check but there are only so many hours in the day. Grier is a vegetarian (nothing with a face) but despite this collects taxidermy, mainly native and exotic birds, her favourite is a full mount Marabou Stork named 'Gareth' who has got a little santa hat she puts on him at Christmas. Don't expect to see Grier if you pay us a visit... she's never here!
